6 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari
This 6 Days safari takes you to two of Uganda’s largest and most gifted savannah parks in the northwest and western regions, harboring a variety of flora, fauna and a breathtaking landscape. Queen Elizabeth National Park; a medley of wonder is the most visited park in Uganda, with 4 of Africa’s Big 5 mammal, notably lions, elephants, leopards and Cape Buffaloes.
Murchison Falls National Park is the largest and oldest park in the country. Time management is paramount, whereas you will also spend nights on classic accommodation facilities, stay in classic accommodation and encounter a lot. Activities include; city tour, boat cruise, game drive and equator tour. All meals are catered for and the guide is very much knowledgeable and friendly. Day 1: Arrival and optional city tour.
Today; Arrive at Entebbe international airport expectant, and with great smiles be welcomed by our company driver-guide, who will take you through some facts about Uganda and the trip. Depending on your arrival time and how stable you are, our company representative will take you around some tourist sites around Kampala city, such as the Independence monument, Uganda Museum and the local markets. Lunch will be around the city, before driving to your hotel for refreshment, dinner, and a night of peaceful sleep.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Rhino tracking Enroute.
Kick start this day with a lip-smacking breakfast meal at the lodge, after which you will check out of the lodge for a 305km drive to the northwestern direction of Uganda. You will have a one-hour stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to track the only Rhinos in Uganda; over 50 white Rhinos at the sanctuary.
Thereafter proceed to Masindi Town for lunch, before driving to your lodge in or around the park for rest, dinner and a nap at will.
Day 3: Game drive and bottom of the falls boat cruise.
After breakfast, cross to the northern sector if you are in the south, for a great game drive adventure. This lasts for roughly three to four hours of getting accustomed to the sound and sights of a variety of flora and fauna in the wild. There is a lot to look out for in the world; talk of the unique plants such as the acacia plants, mammals such as warthogs, oribis, elephants, giraffes and so much more; primates such as the baboons and birds. End the experience with a lunch break.
In the Afternoon, you will have a boat cruise to the bottom of the most powerful waterfall on earth; the mighty Murchison Falls. The boat cruise lasts for 3 hours; enough to spot the hippos, crocodiles, aquatic birds and also take photos and listen to the thundering Murchison Falls, as the waters squeeze through an approximately 7-meter gorge. After the amazing moment, proceed to the real source where you will not only fall in love with the magnificent permanent rainbow but also other falls and the bubbling waters. End the day with dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
At daybreak, enjoy a lip-smacking breakfast meal and then checkout for a Transfer to the Medley of wonders, in the western region of Uganda. One thing is for certain, the beauty of the road to the park is unrivalled, composed of captivating landscapes, green plantations, dotted homesteads and mountain backdrops.
You will have a lunch break en-route, before proceeding with the drive to or around the park with game viewing. Arrive and enjoy a peaceful nap at the lodge, after a lip-smacking dinner meal.
Day 5: Morning Game drive and boat cruise.
After a day break breakfast meal, give your eyes to a profusion of flora and Fauna in the vast kisenyi section of the park. Queen Elizabeth national park is one of the few parks in the world with rare tree-climbing lions. But beyond that, the three to four-hour game drive offers epic views of the captivating landscape, mammals such as African elephants, warthogs, cape Buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda Kobs, Oribis, and many more; birds such as the cranes, egrets, lovebirds and Turacos; primates such as the monkeys and Baboons and unique plants to mention but a few.
Thereafter return to the lodge for Lodge and some refreshment, after which you will follow with a boat cruise at Kazinga channel, a habitat to a school of crocodiles, hippos, kingfishers, and the mammals at the banks quenching their thirst. At sunset, you will return to the lodge for a lip-smacking dinner meal and peaceful nap.
Day 6: Departure.
Wake up to a delicious cup of coffee, and the captivating sunrise rays. After enjoying the cup of coffee, you will check out for a transfer to Entebbe international airport for your departure flight, but with an en-route stopover for lunch, photography and to watch the experiments at the point crossed by the equator.
The equator divides the world in between the northern and southern hemispheres, and it is apparently crossing only thirteen countries in the entire world.
