This 1 Day Jinja City Tour takes you to the diverse great attractions in the heart and around Jinja city. You will have a boat ride to the source of River Nile – the longest river on earth, Mabira forest and the magical Sezibwa Falls. Jinja City is one of the newest cities in Uganda, situated in the Eastern part of Uganda; the pearl of Africa.

River Nile is the longest river in Africa and world over, starting its three-month journey to the Mediterranean Sea from here, through Egypt and several other great nations. From the magical Jinja cable bridge to the vibrant markets and then the great sezibwa waterfalls, experience the beauty in the pearl of Africa through Jinja. Pickup and drop off at the agreed point.

Day 1: Jinja City tour.

Start the day very early in the morning with a hefty breakfast meal at the lodge. The journey lasts for roughly 45 minutes to one hour, traversing the busy towns and the long traffic jam. You will have a stopover at Mabira forest; one of the oldest natural forests in Uganda. Watch the trees, birds and primates in this tropical jungle.

Thereafter, you will head to the captivating sezibwa fall to explore the waterfalls and other attractions around the place. Sezibwa fall is also regarded by many as a ritual place for the local natives, yet with a very exciting untold story. Head for lunch at Jinja town, followed by a transfer to the legendary L. Victoria; where you will have a boat ride to the source of river Nile. Explore the river and then photography at the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi. After this experience, start the journey back to your drop-off point, traversing a variety of plantations and the magical Jinja Bridge.
