Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Road transfer to Jinja (with stops at Ssezibwa falls, Mabira forest and the boat ride).

The road transfer to Jinja, in Eastern Uganda involves transversing remarkable scenery of sugar plantations and magnificent roadside fruit markets. The first stop of this 2-hour journey is Ssezibwa falls known for its cultural significance in Buganda Kingdom and you will be amazed by the legend surrounding this site more than its appearance and on a good day find locals seeking blessings or healing from strange illnesses.

Continue with the road transfer and make the second stop at Mabira forest, another spectacular tourist site in Uganda and known for its rich biodiversity. For your visit to this lush forest, get a chance to undertake zip lining or guided forest walks while encountering different primates such as grey-cheeked mangabeys, red-tailed monkeys and many others in addition to butterfly and forest bird species. The breeze you experience while passing or walking through the forest takes away all your stress.

Continue to Jinja with views of sugarcane plantations and undertake a boat ride to the source of the Nile and this is surprisingly one of the most unforgettable boat rides of a lifetime. Day 2: Whitewater rafting and drive back to Kampala
