4 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari
In this 4 Days Uganda-Rwanda gorilla trip, you will be exposed to some of the biggest primates on earth-man’s closest relative and wildlife, In Two of Africa’s top safari destinations – Rwanda and Uganda. You will watch a variety of wildlife species at Queen Elizabeth National Park, proud home of the rare tree-climbing lions and breathtaking landscape located in the western region.
Volcanoes national park is located in northeastern part of Rwanda, hosting a quarter of the total mountain gorilla species in the Virunga ranges. The trip starts from Entebbe international airport in Uganda and ends from Kigali international airport in Rwanda. Transportation, accommodation, and all meals are well planned for and each day of this trip counts.

Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe International Airport to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On this day, you will meet our safari guide at the agreed point and time; for a briefing and the start of your safari to the western part of Uganda to Queen Elizabeth National Park-the most visited park in the country.
You will be driven on a maram and tarmacked route, marked by rolling hills, plantations, and busy towns. The drive lasts for roughly 6-8 hours, with an enroute stopover for lunch and the other at an interesting equator point. You will be welcomed by the sunset rays, and wildlife in the park as you drive to your lodge for refreshment, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive and Kazinga channel boat cruise.
After an early morning breakfast meal at the Lodge, You will transfer to the park for a remarkable 3-4 hour game drive. Chances are high that you will encounter a variety of birds, primates and mammals at each bend taken and direction followed. Some common and uncommon park residents include; the Cape Buffaloes, African elephants, warthogs and several Antelope species among others. You will have some bites of fruits in the wild, before returning to the lodge for lunch.
After taking some rest, two hours of the afternoon will be spent on a boat trip along Kazinga channel, taking photos, enjoying cool lake breeze and watching the hippos, crocodiles and mammals at the shores quenching their thirst. The day ends with dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Volcanoes National Park.
After a yummy breakfast meal at the lodge, check out for a transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda – land of a thousand hills. The drive lasts for roughly 5-6 hours, via the magnificent Uganda-Rwanda border post, with views of the breathtaking landscape, green vegetation and busy towns. Have lunch break stopover enroute, before arriving at the lodge late in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking and Departure to Kigali city.
On this day, wake up very early in the morning to enjoy your breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for a pre – trekking briefing. Ranger guides will welcome all guests, verify the trekking documents and then give a detailed briefing in regards to the dos and don’ts, about life of gorillas in their wilderness and be allocated to the gorilla family to be tracked. Gorilla trekking lasts about 2-5 hours on foot, through the hilly and sloppy terrain.
You will encounter the different primates, birds and stunning vegetation on your way to the gentle apes, led by a dominant silverback. You will be given an hour to be with the apes, take photos and asking questions in regards to mountain gorillas, before a lunch break.
After the yummy meal, check out of the lodge for a rewarding 2-3 hours rewarding drive to Kigali international airport, with the captivating landscape, flourishing vegetation and dotted homesteads.
