4 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari to Lake Mburo
These 4 days wildlife safari is centered in the western safari circuit and takes you to Uganda’s premier safari destinations, endowed with a wide range of flora and fauna, breathtaking landscape and cool weather. You will do a game drive and boat cruise in both Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo national parks.
Lake Mburo National Park is home to the largest concentration of antelopes in the country, including the Roan antelopes – world’s largest antelope species. On the other hand, Queen Elizabeth national park is the second largest national park in Uganda and a host to elusive tree climbing lions. You will stay in quality lodging facilities, feed on tasty food and then be transported in comfortable safari vehicles. The safari starts and ends from Entebbe international airport.

Day 1: Pickup and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park – boat cruise.
You will kick-start the trip with pickup and briefing by our driver guide who will explain whatever is to be adhered to, before and during the adventure. After briefing, hit the road on a 3-4 hours’ scenic drive to the park.
You will arrive in the park for lunch, followed by a 2-3 hours’ boat cruise along Lake Mburo, with counts of hippos, crocodiles, birds and several other mammals. The journey to Lake Mburo national park starts with a glance at the beautiful Kampala sky scrapers, notable historical / religious sites and other stunning features; mainly the rolling hills and green plantations. End the day with dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Game drive and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Wake up and greet your intestines with a hefty breakfast meal at the lodge, and thereafter head to the wild for a rewarding 3-4 hours’ scenic drive. The park is composed of mainly antelopes such as impalas, bushbucks, waterbucks and so much more, plus some notable grazers like the African elephants, cape buffaloes and the warthogs.
You will enjoy the stunning landscape and explanations by the ranger guide, before driving to Igongo cultural center for lunch. Thereafter, continue to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will arrive in the evening for dinner and a peaceful nap.
Day 3: Game drive and boat cruise.
After breakfast, join your ranger guide for 3 – 4 hours’ rewarding game drive at the vast park. You will drive through the savannah cover, looking out for the hunters and hunted seeking survival in their different territories. Animal residents present in the park are not limited to; lions, leopards, warthogs, Cape Buffaloes and the African Elephants among others. You will be driven back to the lodge for lunch after the search, followed by some rest and a rewarding evening boat cruise at the Kazinga Channel. The channel offers quality time to relax while admiring the cool water breeze, crocodiles yawning and the hippos.
Get done with the days’ activities and return to the lodge for refreshment, followed by dinner and peaceful overnight slumber.
Day 4: Departure.
Depending on your flight time, get a relaxed breakfast meal at the lodge and then checkout from Queen Elizabeth national park straight to Entebbe international airport. About an hour will be spent at the equator taking photos, watching experiments and enjoying lunch in Mbarara city.
