Turn your expectations into appreciation in this 11 Days best of Uganda safari in the pearl of Africa. We take you to Murchison Falls National park in northwestern part of the country; southwestern tip to meet your cousins, mountain gorillas in the misty jungle of Bwindi Impenetrable National park; Kibale national park for chimpanzees; Semuliki National park for its birds, Queen Elizabeth national park for a profusion of prey and predators and misty jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
Activities during this adventure include; boat cruise, game drive, gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking, birding, guided nature walk and a city tour among others. Pickup and drop-off will be at Entebbe International airport.

Day 1: Arrival.
On this day, meet and be briefed by our company driver/guide. They will tell more about Uganda and the trip while enjoying a welcome glass of juice. At the airport is where Uganda’s beauty starts, with the views of Lake Victoria, the largest freshwater lake in the continent and second largest in the whole world.
You will be amazed by the stories and scenic drive to the lodge for a rest as you wait to hit the road the following day to the northwestern part. However, when you land early and feel fresh, our guide can take you around Kampala city, to some of the landmarks and market places. The day ends with dinner and overnight sleep at a cozy hotel.
Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
Have a good morning with yummy breakfast at the lodge before being picked and driven to the largest national park in Uganda. The drive comes with amazing views of the rolling hills, flourishing plantations and the buzzing towns.
You will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to track the only surviving white Rhinos in the country. Spend an hour tracking them, after which you proceed for lunch at Masindi town. The next destination is your booked lodge at the park, register at the gate and then proceed with game viewing safari to your lodge for a rest, followed by dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat cruise.
Brighten your morning with a yummy breakfast meal at the lodge and thereafter head to the northern sector of the park, a place with savanna vegetation and profusion of prey and predators. On a good day, you may encounter a hunt or all the four members of African Big 5, notably the lions, leopards, cape buffaloes and African elephants, Uganda Kobs, warthogs and giraffes. A portion of the region is covered by water and a captivating landscape.
Go for lunch after game drive and then in the evening have a boat cruise to the bottom of the water falls. The 3-hour experience offers endless views of landscape, calm waters, school of hippos and the Nile crocodiles among others. The boat also goes to the point where you will watch and listen to the deafening thunders squeezing through a 7-meter gorge, to the Nile River.
Drive to top of the falls expecting to walk past the devils’ cauldron and draw closer to the raging waters, take photos and have a glance at the permanent rainbow. When all activities are done, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale forest.
The day starts with a yummy African breakfast meal and then check out of the lodge for a transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. This journey lasts for roughly 7-9 hours, with an en-route stopover for lunch.
The route is marked with flourishing plantations, scattered homesteads and rolling hills. Get to the lodge late in the evening for refreshment, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk.
Wake up to a heavy breakfast meal at the lodge, and then transfer to Kibale Park headquarters where you will meet other primate lovers, guides, and porters. The ranger guides will explain the trekking dos and don’ts, as well as escort you for the ultimate search. The forest is covered by the sound and sights of several birds and primates such as the L’Hoest’s monkeys, baboons, Vervet monkeys, grey-cheeked monkeys and chimpanzees, white and black colobus monkeys. Also, identify different flora species and the chimp nests. The trekking exercise lasts for roughly 2-6 hours, plus an additional hour for photography, relaxing and watching the apes play or rest.
After the activity return to the lodge for refreshment and lunch, followed by a relaxed evening at Bigodi swamp, where you will spot several other primates, birds and the local natives carrying on with their daily chores. The day ends with dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Visit Semuliki National Park.
Drive to Semuliki in the morning for an encounter with birds and several other wildlife residents. This park is home to a total of over 450 unique bird species inclusive migrants, endemic and non-endemic to the Albertine region. Walking along the forest, you will listen to the sound, and watch the birds notably the Turacos, Kori bustards, cranes, eagles, marabou storks, parrots, egrets and guinea fowls among others.
At the same place will you enjoy a picnic lunch and then explore the Sempaya hot springs; a phenomenal geographical feature, that emits hot water that can boil an egg or a banana to the eating point. When all the activities are done, return to the lodge for sunset dinner and overnight stay at Fort Portal City.
Day 7: Top of the world hike and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After breakfast, go for top of the world hike where you will watch beautiful sunrise, variety of crater lakes, captivating landscape and lush plantations. Thereafter return and checkout of the lodge for a 2-3 hours’ drive to the medley of wonders – Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Enter the park to your lodge with some game views, as lunch will be already prepared. The evening will be for relaxation and optional activities. At sunset, have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 8: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
Start the day with the first meal, thereafter head to the savanna region to encounter the prey and predators in their territories, in addition to the captivating landscape, birds, plants, and the primates. The activity runs for roughly 3-4 hours, with great opportunities of spotting elephants, Cape buffaloes, warthogs, Oribis, giraffes, Uganda Kobs, leopards, Jackson’s hartebeests and lions to mention but a few.
Follow the game drive with lunch and then an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel, home to a school of hippos, crocodiles and aquatic birds among others. End the day’s activities at the lodge with a yummy dinner meal and a nap.
Day 9: Queen Elizabeth National park to Bwindi impenetrable National park.
Brighten your morning with a cup of coffee, after which you will check out of the lodge for a transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, via the Ishasha sector where you will track the tree climbing lions for roughly two hours.
Thereafter, proceed for lunch at the same region, before proceeding to one of the sectors at the misty jungle of Bwindi. The route is marked by green plantations, rolling hills and water bodies. Arrive and relax at your lodge to the time of enjoying dinner and a nap
Day 10: Gorilla trekking and Batwa pygmies.
After breakfast, depart the lodge for the park headquarters to be briefed about the trekking rules, and as well more facts about the Gorillas. Half of the total mountain gorillas call this jungle home and you will track one of 20 families in this jungle. The search is guided by expert safari guides, who help you track through the lush territories, from a point these apes were last spotted to where they are expected to be.
The exercise may last for roughly 1-7 hours depending on your hiking speed and the direction the Apes have taken, as well as a maximum of 1 hour for taking photos and watching the silverbacks, mothers, and infants. Up to a maximum of 8 visitors get access to a gorilla family per day. Each family is unique and has a special setting, members and territory.
After the exercise, return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an optional visit to the Batwa communities; renowned hunters and gatherers. Spend about 1-2 hours interacting, thereafter return to the lodge for dinner and a nap.
Day 11: Departure.
Rise to a relaxed breakfast meal at the lodge and then checkout for a transfer to Entebbe international airport for your flight home. The journey lasts for roughly 8-9 hours, with an en-route stopover at the equator to watch geographical demonstrations, take photos and have lunch.
